The winery “I Cradle of  Wine” is located in Georgia, an ancient country at the crossroads of Europe and Asia, famous for being the birthplace of wine. Wine vessels containing residual wine compounds dating from 8,000 years ago were found near the capital city Tbilisi.

“I Cradle of  Wine” is a small company that produces high-quality red and white Georgian wine in a family winery, following long-standing Georgian traditions of wine-making.

Our company’s mission is to produce and export high-quality Georgian wine. Among the 500 different types of wine Georgia boasts, we offer the top ones.

KISI WHITE DRY WINE

Kisi is a white wine grape variety of the Georgian Republic. It is in the early stages of a revival from near exinction, and is made both in modern European style and traditional Georgian style using kvevri earthenware jars to make amber colored wines. Some fortified version are also produced, and it is also prized for grape juice and as a table grape.

The variety originated and is almost entirely grown in the Kakheti region. It is considered to be closely related to a number of other local varieties.

KHASHMI SAPERAVI

Wine is made from Saperavi grape variety, from AOC in micro zone of Khashmi region. Wine is vinified by classical method in stainless steel vats, with maceration time of one month. Cool black cherry, blackberry and blueberry aromas are fresh with notes of some green grass aromas, but acents of spice, dried flowers, that are turned into earthy notes.
 
Wine of 2018. Only 1000 bottles are bottled. Of which Part 254 is sent to the UK. The rest of the bottles are shipped to European high class hotels and restaurants.

Single vineyard Rkhatsiteli from Akhmeta region is vanified by traditional Qvevri method; Skin maturation of 5 month. The wine is ripe and juicy, with intense apricot candy and honeysuckle aromas in the end. Though having incredible finess and length. Minerality and soft blossoms finess that rich, peach and orange-like centre, that will evolve for years to come.
The wine is recommended together with veal, lamb, pork and cheese.
